Home-Raised Goldendoodle and Labradoodle Puppies

Our Retired Girls and Boys...

I have decided to create a page dedicated to the wonderful dogs that started our breeding program. We owe these girls and boys everything. They each have their own stories.

"Molly"
Molly was our very first golden retriever. She was the perfect puppy and quickly became the best dog in the world! Molly began our breeding program, as we quickly fell in love with the golden retriever breed. Molly was an inspiration to our whole family. She was always full of love for everyone. Sadly, Molly was hit by a car when her last litter of puppies was 3 weeks old. She is never forgotten in our hearts.

"Hope"
Wow. What can I say about Hope. Nothing I write will ever measure up to this amazing girl. To know Hope, was to know peace. She was always the calm one of the bunch. Never a rowdy girl, just a total lover. Hope was always right beside you, while the other dogs were playing. Her spot was with people. Hope retired early from our breeding program. She is now living with a wonderful family, where her loving personality is put to the best of uses. Hope's new 'mother' is in a wheelchair, and Hope serves as her therapy dog. Hope has brought so much love to her new family. She is their world, and we are so proud that Hope could bless her family in this way.

"Remi" a.k.a. "Remington" - December 16th, 2003-June 26th, 2004
Remi was our wonder doodle. She brought so much life to our lives when she was here. Remi was our spunky girl who loved everyone she met. She was never shy towards strangers. Her favourite pal was her half-sister Maggie. They were inseperable. Remi only had a short life with us, as she succumbed to kidney failure. Remi was a victim of antifreeze poisoning. We do not keep anti-freeze where our dogs can get it, and we never ever put it in our vehicles while in the driveway. Unfortunately, littering is a huge problem in our world. To me it is such a simple thing - don't litter. It would have saved our baby girl. Remi was our angel. To everyone she met, she was the same. One family came over ot our house to pick up their puppy and their daughter asked if Remi ever ran out of energy. She was not hyper at all...just loved to run and play. I will never forget this wonderful doodle. She is now truly an angel watching over us.

"Laya"
Laya is my little sister Katie's dog. At the time that we got Laya, Katie was 6 years old. The only person who has ever done any training with Laya was Katie. Laya knows every trick in the book. She walks right beside you without a leash. All courtesy of a 6 year old. Laya has been pulled up little kids' slides, pushed around in a baby buggy, dressed in Katie's pyjamas. She has sat for tea parties since she was a puppy. Laya is now retired from our breeding program, and will remain here with us. She is our senior now. We have kept many of her puppies for our program. Her daughters are Nikki, Tasha and Reilly. Her granddaughter's Bianca, Jackie, Heidi and Sahara, and great granddaughter is Tula! Laya has the best personality. She is very sweet, calm, and absolutely in love with everyone. When new people come to our house, Laya is right there to greet them with a prayer. Yes, she knows how to pray! It is just adorable. We love you Laya! Sadly, Laya crossed the rainbow bridge in the fall of 2008.

"Prince"
He should be named King, because he is certainly the king of our household. Prince is retired now. He will stay with us forever as my mom's constant companion. What a lovebug - but definitely not a lap dog! Prince is 26 inches tall, so for him to sit on you, well, its just not the most comfortable thing in the world, but it does please him. He mostly likes to rub up against you - we call it bumming.

"Nikki"
Nikki has gone to her forever home. It was the hardest parting we've ever had. Nikki has been with us for so long. She was an 'original'. Nikki produced some amazing puppies for us. She was a great friend. Currently she is living with a family that has small children and she is their baby. I know that Nikki has gone to a loving home. Nikki will forever be missed.

"Diana"
Our Dee Dee. Dee has been such a constant in our life. She is so full of life. The outdoors is her second home because she loves to be out there with us - hunting, swimming, hiking, you name it, Diana wants to do it! She has produced some wonderful babies for us, and we are happy and sad at the same time to see her retire. We have our Jersey girl and Choco to carry on for Diana!

"Gretchy" aka "Fru Fru"
Our sweet Gretchy has retired. It was a bittersweet moment for us. Gretchen is such a sweetheart and everyone who came to visit just fell in love with her charm. And who can forget her love for the cats! Gretchen could stare at the cats for hours! We have kept a beautiful girl named Sadie to carry on in Gretchen's footsteps!

"Tasha"
Tasha has had many wonderful doodle and retriever litters. She will be staying with us, and is now our resident grandma.
